20 x 40cm. Rhizomatous, evergreen perennial, producing small spikes of pale to deep pink flowers in late summer. Moist but well-drained, humus-rich soil in part shade. Neutral to acid soil. Comes from China, where its' flowers are said to be a sign of good fortune to follow!
