Nepeta

Nerine

Harmful if eaten.

Nerines require well-drained soil in full sun.  Tender ones should be kept frost free in winter, others need a sheltered position.  They grow well in a container.

45 x 10cm. Heads of bright pink flowers produced in autumn. Leaves appear in spring, and die off before flowering. Ideally, grow at the base of a sunny wall. Mulch in cold areas in winter.
