We are a two small adjacent nurseries, situated near Romsey in Hampshire, producing a joint catalogue and website. We grow a large range of interesting and unusual plants, many of which are not widely available.

We are situated at Silverwood House, Gardener's Lane, Near Romsey, Hamshire, SO51 6AD. You will be welcome to enjoy the garden, during our opening hours.
Our plantlist includes a wide range of Mottisfont herbaceous plants, a good selection of drought-tolerant plants, fragrant and aromatic plants, and plants to attract bees and butterflies. We also have a good variety of hardy geraniums, salvias and dianthus, with a growing number of alpines. We have a range of British natives and wildflowers too.
Payment is by cash or cheque only. We are sorry that we cannot accept credit cards at the moment.
Orders can be placed in advance and collected by appointment, or delivered to shows that we are attending. As we are a small concern, we cannot guarantee availability of plants at all times, but we are happy to grow plants to order. If you want a particular plant, do contact us first to check on availability, particularly if you are travelling a long way.
We are predominantly a peat-free nursery.
The prices are not quoted in the catalogue, as this depends on the size of plants available. Most plants offered are in the range from £1.50 to £7, depending on size of plant, difficulty of propagation, and availability of material.
